4th grade / Measurements / Convert units / Convert kilograms to grams
In the metric system, units are related by a factor of 10. This makes it easy to convert between different units of measurement. Grams (g) and kilograms (kg) are both units of mass in the metric system. To convert between them, we need to know that the relationship between the two units is:
1 kilogram (kg) = 1000 grams (g)
This means that there are 1000 grams in a kilogram. To convert kilograms to grams, we need to multiply the number of kilograms by 1000 (to convert grams to kilograms, we would need to divide the number of grams by 1000).
For example, convert 1.6 kilograms to grams.
1.6 kg x 1000 = 1600 g
Example 2, convert 4.26 kilograms to grams.
4.26 kg x 1000 = 4260 g
Example 3, convert 0.637 kilograms to grams.
0.637 kg x 1000 = 637 g
In this topic you are asked to convert masses given in kilograms to grams. The masses range from 1 kilogram to 10 kilograms.
With our Rock fall math game you will be practicing the topic "Convert kilograms to grams" from 4th grade / Measurements / Convert units. The math in this game consists of 20 questions that ask you to convert the given number of kilograms to the equivalent number of grams.
ROCK FALL is based on the road traffic warning sign for falling rocks - a sign that seems a bit less useful than somebody getting up there on that cliff and actually doing something about it... Anyway, the rocks are falling and it is your job to stop them hitting the road below, or at least stopping them hitting the road below too many times and breaking it. Smash the rocks by clicking or tapping on them (not so easy in real life of course) - they will turn into snowflakes and float gently down into nothing.
There are 4 rocks to stop and not much time to do it (if you want to get a good score and get on the leaderboard). This game is fun and fast and requires good reflexes and a good strategy. Plan to break the smaller rocks first if you want a good score because the rocks fall faster as the game progresses. It also helps to decide where on their path you plan to click / tap the rocks.

Rock fall * Four in a row * Sow grow * Choose or lose * Mix and match
There are rocks falling from an unstable cliff. You need to break the rocks by clicking / tapping on them...
